The Lowis Lanes initially hit the Southampton music scene in 2007 and played a selection of local venues and bars. The band as it was disbanded in 2009 due to various other commitments. Steve has now reformed the The Lowis Lanes with different members. Dan Brown joined on bass initially with former drummer Peter Hurst taking to the drum stool once more. David Cefai is the most recent addition as backing vocalist and second guitarist. With a diverse mixture of influences between us all we have developed a very pop/folk/rock style which sounds fresh and original. We are itching to get into the studio to record and hope to have a release out as soon as possible. In the meantime we will be posting up live recordings from recent shows so have a listen to our Songs Here. We have already had a fantastic run of shows including a support slot for New Jersey singer songwriter Alli Moss; Headlining at The Joiners in Southampton and playing two blinding sets at this years Romsey Beggars Fair.
